The first four video games in the series, Silent Hill , 2 , 3 and 4: The Room , were developed by an internal group called Team Silent , a development staff within former Konami subsidiary Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo. The Silent Hill franchise has expanded to include various print pieces, two feature films, and spin-off video games. Silent Hill is set in the series' eponymous fictional American town.

First off, the downsides: Some parts of the movie seemed a little drawn out, the film was two hours, and at certain times, you could feel that. It's far-fetched, and I can imagine some people rolling their eyes at the storyline, and there WILL be some people walking out saying "that was a stupid movie". Of course, some of them will be saying that in response to the sheer amount of gore and violence, which brings me into the 'upsides': This movie certainly had it's 'wow' moments with shock, anticipation, and gore, especially near the climax.
Silent Hill 2 was released in and to this day is considered by many fans to be the best game in the franchise. Silent Hill 2 is an early entry in the beloved horror franchise that fans have latched on to for years. Arguably the most famous aspect of the title is its inclusion of the terrifying monster Pyramid Head, who after his first appearance in the game went on to become an icon of the series. Konami used this love recently to crush fans' hopes by accidentally teasing a nonexistent remake of the classic game.
A father and daughter are driving through a remote area of America when a ghostly figure steps into the road, forcing the car to swerve wildly. As the man regains consciousness, he realises the car is a wreck and his daughter is missing. Shocked and confused, he staggers into the nearby town of Silent Hill, where his nightmare truly begins. Loaded with dread, this scene could be the opening of a nasty horror movie. But the differences between Silent Hill and Resident Evil are profound. The latter presents a conventional heroic narrative, with the player-characters unambiguously coded as righteous saviours who must eradicate the evil represented by the zombies to restore symbolic order.
